# 6 In Dec MOJO magazine to 10 playlist
- Great shows, Great fans, New friends & Lots of new songs, great shows at the Gram fests etc..Playing & doin My thing w/my band and also hearing Great groups do their stuff!
Rollin' & Tumblin' cruisin' , movin' & soothin' my soul to the ever ready sounds a' feelin' the ground
I thunder, I plunder beneath my ever movin' feet on the street ' feelin the heat
SWEET
All the while with my side kick cronies along the way in pocket spots
through paradise of the land in dimensions of un relenting-
gravel & dirt glory along the great streets somwhere in the other America-
The Blue moon is dancin' with the Crecent skyway and livin' for givin' and the year of 2011
will now laspe into the cradled arms of the past ..only to embrace the future-
I'm sidesteppin' in with Fred Astaire style & 2012 Ragamuffin' flair ..without a care-
I'll see ya there!

LEVIS & BLACK JACKETS
Written By Michael Ubaldini (from The 2nd revised moon tide press book MICHAEL UBALDINI 'LOST AMERICAN NIGHTS'-lyrics& poems
Levis & Black denim jackets
Stroll the cement
The subway holes
The burnt out tenements
The graffiti decayed buildings
The rumbling trains
The sad avenues
The angry cities
The quiet suburbs
The high plains
The searing valleys
Ride in old Chevy’s
Through Manhattan
South central
Texas& Virginia
Clear across the sea
Levis & black jackets are the way
They will always be the way
And are forever
Three degrees hotter
And 20 below zero cooler then any fashion clothing trend on this earth
And are outta this world Jack& anyone who thinks differently
They may get busted up
Burned by a rebels torch that forever burns
In Greaser solitude

THE FINAL CURTAIN
I climbed down in this hollow room looking for someplace to hide
Still wanting to be seen
Shelter dead as evening romance encrypted and engraved
A neurotic dreamer’s scheme
I can pick up all the broken pieces where you used to stand
Getting whipped is entertainment
I’m no slave driving man
I’ll just let you down easy
Because there is no easy way to let you down
Amongst your acquired cathedral of friends you were many things
Queen of the contrived scene
You called me your lover yes I obliged
You saddled up the horse
I ate from the cuisine
I’ll let you go first my darling I don’t mind being last
I’m walking through life’s Graveyard where you’re buried in the past
I’ll just let you down easy
Because there is no easy way to let you down
Deceptive false illusions love supremacy
Sweet intoxication Drunk with ecstasy
Socialite seduction came up dry
Farwell goodbye
I tried to tell you lovers must be two before they’re one
With you I feel I’m staring down the barrel of a gun
I’ll just let you down easy
It’s Time to bring the final curtain down

DREAM SEQUENCE #7-Street singin’ Troubadour Blues- Way over’ yonder in ‘The End times’
From The soon to be published 2nd edition of The Book MICHAEL UBALDINI- 'LOST AMERICAN NIGHTS"Lyrics & Poems'
I better capture the words right now
Before enchantment disappears
The eyes of honesty wept
Invoking love with fear.
Taste the shadows and the pain deep
In this whiskey flask,
Her arms hold me strong with truth,
Or does the rabbit don the mask.
We’re warm within a shack beyond the cold
A flickering shack
With eyes burn through like coal
Four walls surround us
Created by mind scheme –
Our love explodes like stars
In the night ocean stream
The lights burn the dark on all highways
The rivers flow where
Darkness makes love with the sun
Though I’m alone
Standing gazing toward the rivers cape
Wondering if my openness will leave wound where
My hearts at stake.
My collars up
I hang my head and stroll along
I’m in search for salvation,
She’s my lover, and if childhood dreams aren’t but a whim,
I jump in –
Head first and drown before I’d swim.
